Adult FDA Usage Overview:
The anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity of sulindac has been clinically demonstrated in patients with acute painful frozen shoulder (acute subacromial bursitis/supraspinatus tendonitis).
FDA Dosage: In acute painful shoulder joint pain (acute subacromial bursitis/supraspinatus tendonitis) and acute gouty arthritis, the recommended dose is 200 mg twice daily. After a satisfactory response has been achieved, the dose may be reduced according to the response. For acute shoulder pain, treatment for 7 to 14 days is usually adequate. For acute gouty arthritis, treatment for 7 days is usually adequate.
